Our Focus At Midview Baptist Church Is Helping People Find Peace and Purpose in Their Lives

Faith

Have you noticed that we live in an ever changing society? Midview Baptist Church is founded upon the changeless Word of God. We believe that the Bible is absolutely true and has been given to us as our “Instruction Manual” for life. One of the goals of our church is to know God through the study of His Word. We have found the Bible to be relevant even to our changing culture today. Learning is a life-long adventure. Our faith in Christ is based upon the changeless truths of God’s Word, the Bible.

At Midview Baptist Church we believe that ministry is about people. Our church calendar and programs reflect this philosophy. The busyness of our society today leaves little time for “togetherness” as families and for developing friendships. An important facet of Midview Baptist Church is the emphasis of caring and sharing in our own families, our work places, neighborhoods, communities, and around the world. Simply put, we love God first, and that is the reason we love others.

Comradery

At Midview Baptist Church we share a real sense of “teamwork.” We find a tremendous sense of joy as our church family serves together. For those who choose to become part of the working team, there are great blessings. Friendships that are forged are amongst the most precious treasures in life. The fellowship in teamwork is a bonus!

“To feel important is one of the greatest needs of the human spirit.” Knowing that our lives count in making a difference brings a sense of purpose and fulfillment. The Bible teaches that God has “gifted” or given a specific ability to every one of His family. At Midview Baptist Church we encourage people to do what they can – whether it be a tool in their hand, cooking a meal for someone in need, teaching, singing, being a faithful prayer warrior, creating cards for encouragement…as a form of service to the Lord.

Savior

At Midview Baptist Church we believe that the most important decision in all of life hinges upon one question, “What will you do with the Savior?” The Bible says that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” God has blessed mankind with a SAVIOR to his problem – SIN. Jesus died on the cross to save us. If we believe in Him, He will forgive our sins and give us a new life and a place for all eternity in heaven. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16 It is our goal at Midview Baptist Church to point people to the living, loving Savior, Jesus Christ, Who brings both peace and purpose in life.
